Pro-Abortion Arguments Always Come Up Empty

By Rey Flores

If there is one skill or talent that anyone who supports abortion doesn’t have, it is the ability to justify why abortion is supposedly a good or necessary thing. The main reason for this is that they simply lack the truth.

They know the truth, but they just aren’t willing to own up to it—the same way any petty common criminal won’t own up to shoplifting, burglary, rape, and murder. Am I saying abortion is in the category of these crimes? Absolutely! Right up there with both rape and murder.

There is never a justifiable reason to kill one of God’s creations. Ever.

Another argument that has been thrown in my face plenty is the “You only care about the fetus in the womb, but after it’s born, who will clothe, feed, and educate that child?” argument.

First off, a baby is never an “it.” Second, I find that argument one of the stupidest and most deliberately ignorant comments a pro-abort could make. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I have never seen more kind, generous, and loving people than the pro-life volunteers who work at crisis pregnancy centers across the country.

I have also seen many pro-life prayer warriors take their own money to pay for a young woman’s rent, groceries, diapers, and clothes AFTER the baby is born—years after in some cases—until a woman can get on her feet and support herself, her baby, and her other children.

In addition, most charitable organizations are founded by Christian churches of all stripes—the same Christian churches that are pro-life and also help clothe, feed, and shelter the homeless.

Abortion supporters aren’t exactly opening up their own homeless shelters, food pantries, and soup kitchens, are they? They’re usually too busy telling us that we don’t care about the poor and the homeless for them to actually help the poor and the homeless themselves. Their idea of helping the homeless is to register them as voters, claim to empower them, and then exploit them for their own political and social agendas.

Let abortion supporters say what they want, but at the end of the day, I imagine the still-thinking ones know they are dead wrong.
