Planned Parenthood Horror Show Defines the Line between Sanity and Depravity
This past week has been bizarre. First we heard from Politico that the Obama Department of Justice was considering a probe of the Center for Medical Progress.

Pro-life activity has been dominated this week by the release on Tuesday morning of an undercover video by the pro-life group Center for Medical Progress.
Many people are all aflutter about the news that the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, also known as H.R. 36, is now on the Congressional calendar and-by the time you read this-will have been voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives.
This week, the legislature in the state of Michigan added a restriction to the state’s budget bill which states that any organization-like Planned Parenthood-that allows abortions will not be able to receive any state funding. In the past, Planned Parenthood received as much as $700,000 from the state. Although the legislators have shut that money down, the language in the budget bill will prevent any government official from circumventing the will of the legislature and of the citizens of Michigan.
It’s no wonder people are confused and even ambivalent about the horrors of abortion. They receive mixed messages on a daily basis from organizations like Planned Parenthood, from the Obama administration, and from baby marketing companies that are just concerned with their bottom line. We have elected people whom we hope will vote pro-life. Now is the time to hold them to it.

What happens when you take copious amounts of hormonal carcinogens, steep in utter disregard for humanity, sprinkle with false compassion, stir all in a thinly veiled broth of vote grappling, and spike with pieces of women’s broken health, families torn asunder, and children dead and forgotten? You get something more messed up than the proverbial soup-sandwich.
As we move further into Lent and toward Good Friday, the day Our Lord allowed Himself to be crucified so that we may have eternal life with Him, we reflect more and more on His suffering. While His crucifixion story had a glorious ending in His resurrection, there is no glorious ending to the daily crucifixion of thousands of preborn babies. Not only is a child needlessly slaughtered, but left behind are wounded mothers, fathers, siblings, and grandparents. What will it take to end this holocaust?
For those of us who realize the truth that life begins the moment a child is created arguments suggesting otherwise are inane. When we hear the assertion that a human being is not alive until he is born despite his beating heart, moving limbs, functioning organs, and so on we wonder how anyone could believe this lie. The fundamental right to life is denied every second of every day in America because of this lie and we must not allow this insanity to continue.

Planned Parenthood has never been one to follow the laws of society.
Responding to the controversy over Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock’s remarks on the right to life for all human beings from creation to death
Susan G. Komen for the Cure put out a statement that some interpret as a reversal of an earlier statement that Planned Parenthood Federation of America would not qualify for further funding under new Komen grant guidelines.
