Week in Review – Executive Order Seeks to Fund Abortion Travel with Tax Dollars, Judie Brown Responds; ALL Encourages This CA Town to Stand with a Truly ‘Pro-Life’ Resolution
On Wednesday of this week, President Biden signed yet another executive order in an attempt to restore widespread abortion access following the demise of Roe.
The executive order encourages the Department of Health and Human Services to direct Medicaid funding to abortion travel for women who live in states where it is restricted.
In furtherance of the policy set forth in section 1 of this order, the Secretary of HHS shall consider actions to advance access to reproductive healthcare services, including, to the extent permitted by Federal law, through Medicaid for patients traveling across State lines for medical care.
The Hyde Amendment still prohibits federal funds to pay for most abortions so, as a loophole, Biden is asking HHS to turn to using tax dollars to fund travel for abortion violence instead.
The Hill reports that on a White House press call, an official stated the EO would require states where abortion is legal to apply for Section 1115 Medicaid waivers to provide services for women crossing state lines for abortions. They were not specific on what costs Medicaid could potentially cover.
In response to the EO, ALL president Judie Brown said: “Joe Biden’s affection for the killing of innocent babies by abortion appears to know no limits.” Brown continued: “What a shame he, an alleged Catholic, did not use his office to pay for expectant mothers to have their babies without a concern for the cost involved. Biden is evil!”
Amid California’s actions to enshrine abortion into the state’s constitution, a coastal town in Orange County, CA, is considering a resolution that would declare the locality a so-called “abortion-free zone.”
San Clemente’s city council is set to review the resolution by mid-August.
Eyewitness News claims they obtained a draft of the resolution, which reportedly condemns abortion in most cases. Even if the resolution is passed, it would most certainly not make them an “abortion-free zone.”
When given the chance to make an exception to murder a child for the “life of the mother” or “health of the mother”, an abortionist, and most certainly Planned Parenthood, will justify any condition because, to put it simply, they falsely consider abortion to be safer than childbirth. And if an abortion is the safer option, then any reason to abort a child would be justified.
The resolution also includes exceptions for rape and incest. Rape and incest are similar in the sense that both are criminal acts. In our system of justice, we punish the criminal; we do not punish the victim, nor do we punish the criminal’s children.
The violent acts of rape and incest will not be undone by killing the child. In fact, undergoing an abortion would only add to the trauma. The circumstances of how the child’s life was created may have been criminal, but the life of the newly created human being is just as valuable as any other person’s life.
Killing the child of a criminal who has committed sexual assault is not the solution; we should punish the criminal, not kill his child.
ALL calls on the San Clemente city council to rewrite this resolution to one that is 100% pro-life.
We encourage this city to bravely stand as a truly “abortion-free zone”!

Video of the Week – What Has Praying the Rosary Ever Done? Here Are a Few Miraculous Examples
Traditionally, August is the month dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Just as we honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus, so we devote ourselves to the interior life of Mary, His mother. At various times throughout history, she has interceded on our behalf and brought about miraculous victories, most especially when we use the Rosary as the weapon. When we launched the Marian Blue Wave nearly three years ago, we listed a few of those victories as encouragement to pro-life advocates who work to bring about the end to the evil of preborn child killing.

Pro-life Social Media – Two Tweets Show How Leftists Think We’re All Dumb
Pro-life advocates have always been clear on the difference between the unexpected death of a preborn baby and the intentional murder of one. A New York Times opinion piece, authored by a University of Pittsburgh School of Law professor, suggests Americans don’t know any better.
“An abortion-rights movement that can talk about the fetus and the woman together — as the anti-abortion movement has been doing for decades — has a much better chance to win hearts and minds,” write @GreerDonley and @jillwieberlens https://t.co/b0xT5Pvu80

We talk about miscarriage differently for the simple fact that one is unexpected while the other is intentional. Miscarriage is the loss of a baby; abortion violence is the taking of the life of one.
This is one of the most dishonest and manipulative articles you’ve published and considering the source, that’s saying a lot. What a way to make enemies.
— MyJennarocity (@MJennarocity) August 2, 2022
To be fair, the New York Times purposefully ignored the Holocaust, so, there is that.
Why do we talk about murder differently than cancer?
— Dr. StrangeHONK! (@ncgyles) August 2, 2022
NYT, you guys have lost the plot!
Um, because they are two completely different things. Now you know.
— Peyton 🌴 (@PeytonInFlorida) August 2, 2022
Shout your miscarriage just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
— NewEnglandDevil (@NewEnglandDevil) August 2, 2022
Excellent point!
Such a disingenuous piece. The difference is 💯intentionality💯. It’s embarrassing to act so obtuse. Fall down the stairs and have a miscarriage: Tragic. Insert forceps to crush baby’s skull: Evil. @MZHemingway @kayleighmcenany pic.twitter.com/Qg3zBDcYPn

I have Muscular Dystrophy and am in a wheelchair. I guess that’s the same as someone purposely sawing their legs off with a chainsaw.

I had a miscarriage into the second trimester. I did NOT choose that you absolute pinheads!

From the Grey Lady, we go to the White House, where the press secretary calls the Supreme Court’s decision to gut Roe“unconstitutional.”
Jean-Pierre calls SCOTUS overturning Roe an “unconstitutional action”pic.twitter.com/6WDIzN2Ov3
— Daily Wire (@realDailyWire) August 3, 2022
What she’s saying is that it was unconstitutional for the Supreme Court to decide a previous decision was unconstitutional. Does that mean the White House is suing the Supreme Court? You can’t make up this stuff.
Tell me you know nothing about the Constitution without saying you know nothing about the constitution.
— Basincruiser (@basincruiser) August 3, 2022
This is blatant incorrect information coming from the Presidential spokesperson. If this is the messaging that the White House wants to be disseminated then we are dealing with incompetence on a level we’ve never seen within the executive branch.
— Barrington Martin II (@_BarringtonII) August 3, 2022
A case was brought to the court. The court made a ruling on the case. What about this was unconstitutional?
— Mrs. Keo🌺 (@Mamavong_) August 3, 2022
Joe Biden does not like it. Therefore, it is unconstitutional.
So it is unconstitutional for the court to overrule its own decision?
— Derek (The Fletch) Fletcher (@shinyakukaoku) August 3, 2022
So once the court makes a decision it is set in stone…forever…
Ok…well there are some other rulings that were overturned that you may want to look into before you take this stance…
She just talks. I don’t think she really knows what she’s saying.
— James C Foster (@jd21122) August 3, 2022
That pretty much sums up how this executive branch of our government works.
