The morning-after two-step

The Connecticut Catholic bishops are in a difficult state, brought on by their own acceptance of compromise. By following the so-called Peoria Protocol, the Catholic hospitals in that state will not provide the morning-after pill to victims of rape, but they will provide a listing of those places where the drugs can be obtained, and if need be, they will provide transportation for the patient.

Excuse me, but the last time I checked, that was called cooperation in evil. Since members of the Catholic hierarchy know, by their own USCCB statements, that the morning-after pill is abortive, how can it be legitimate to drive women who could be with child to places where their child can be chemically assaulted and killed?
