Senator Arlen Specter, known for his love affair with any kind of abortion, is now touting a possible strategy for adding on a human embryonic stem cell research funding amendment to the Health and Human Services appropriations bill. He claims "we've waited long enough." And even though he dislikes doing this, he is going to attempt it because he wants to make sure Congress considers the matter before the break.
Well, folks, that's a true abortion zealot for you. They never give up; and they push as hard as they can for any measure they believe will advance the culture of death. Gee, I wish we had that kind of political zealotry on our side.
