Health Care 2020: The Coming Collapse of Employer-Provided Health Care

A lot of people are kind of vaguely aware that we’re going to have a demographic problem down the road with an aging of the baby boomers, but not a lot of people are aware of how drastic the problem will be.
By the year 2010, the ratio of those aged 25 to 64 to those over 65 will be 4 to one. By 2020 it will be 3 to 1. By 2030 it will be about 2 to 1.
There will be a demographic implosion by the year 2030. It will probably destroy the current system of employer-based insurance. The burden on the young will be crushing.
