After Super Bowl, Tebow Mom Still Fighting for Human Rights with Personhood Endorsement

Washington, D.C. (22 October 2010) – After facing down months of criticism leading up to her pro-life television commercial during the 2010 Super Bowl, Pam Tebow, mother of NFL rookie quarterback Tim Tebow, is once again speaking out on behalf of human rights for all.

Tebow extended her endorsement earlier this week to Colorado’s Amendment 62 initiative — the only pro-life ballot measure in the country this November which would recognize, in the Colorado state constitution, that all human beings are “persons.”

“All children are people, made in the image and likeness of God,” said Tebow. “Thus, I support the Personhood amendment and appeal to Colorado voters to vote ‘yes’ on Amendment 62.”

Tebow joins a growing number of civil and human rights champions to endorse Amendment 62, including American Life League president Judie Brown.

Amendment 62 reads:

Section 32. Person defined. As used in sections 3, 6, and 25 of Article II of the state constitution, the term “person” shall apply to every human being from the beginning of the biological development of that human being.

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to death.  For more information or press inquiries, please contact Katie Walker at 540.659.4942.
