As we were putting together the data for Part 2 of our analysis on the 2017-2018 Planned Parenthood Federation of America Annual Report, we took note of the number of medical and surgical abortions Planned Parenthood claimed to have done. It reported committing 332,757 abortions in a single year (October 1, 2016, to September 30, 2017). When you report a number that large, it helps to break it down into a daily total. So, take 332,757, divide it by 365 days, and you get 911 babies a day who die at Planned Parenthood!
Wow! That’s a number with major significance. The first thing that came to mind was the fact that terrorists attacked the United States on 9/11/2001. A chill went through us as we recognized the eerie coincidence that Planned Parenthood is the domestic terrorist group that attacks 911 preborn human beings every day. We will never forget that, after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City, Planned Parenthood offered free abortions to anyone affected by the attacks.
Then, of course, we recognized that, when there is an emergency—a car accident, a terrorist attack, or someone having a heart attack—invariably someone yells, “Call 911.” It is the national emergency phone number. When you hear that yell, you know someone is in trouble. Even complete strangers spring into action to do what they can to help.
Well, we have another 911 call going out across America. It is a call from preborn babies who are being killed at Planned Parenthood. These babies need our help to save their lives and the lives of all the other babies who are going to be killed behind the walls of this terrorist organization. The number made us think of the loving people involved in Red Rose Rescues who, like all first responders, show up at a life-or-death moment and offer help to mothers and their children.
Every day, preborn babies—each one created individually by God—are sending out a 911 call from the country’s largest abortion chain. Planned Parenthood runs 51 percent of all the abortion facilities in the nation and kills more than one out of every three children who die from abortion in the nation. The babies are all in the womb. They are issuing silent screams. They are calling for help. Every day, they call 911 times.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans marched in Washington, DC, last month to support the babies. Now the marchers are back home. As we documented in our 2018 Planned Parenthood Facilities Report, Planned Parenthood has 590 facilities in 48 states across the nation. Of those, 357 commit surgical or medical abortions and the rest distribute abortifacient products as well as refer mothers to the Planned Parenthood killing centers.
It is time we all answer the babies’ 911 call. Go to your local Planned Parenthood. If you don’t feel called to do a Red Rose Rescue, stand outside and pray. Be there outside the home of Satan and talk to the women, the husbands, the boyfriends, the escorts, and the workers. Share the message of God with all these people.
When first responders answer a 911 call, they rush in with CPR, defibrillators, and all kinds of help for the body. When you answer the call, bring Jesus with you. Bring His lifesaving words. Bring the favorite weapon of His mother—the rosary. Your prayers will save more lives than CPR—and they will also save souls.
If you don’t know where the nearest Planned Parenthood is, go to Planned Parenthood’s website, scroll down to “Find a Health Center,” and enter your zip code. You will get a list of all the facilities that are near you. Pick one and go there to pray. Answer the 911 call; save a life for Jesus.
Years ago, we used to maintain a map of the United States that contained all the Planned Parenthood locations and identified the groups that were maintaining a prayerful presence outside. With the multiple redesigns of our STOPP website, as well as evolving technology, that map does not currently exist. But we plan to bring it back.
If you or anyone (or group) you know currently goes regularly to a Planned Parenthood facility in the United States, please let us know. Send an e-mail to me (jsedlak@all.org) and let me know which PP facility you go to and when. We’ll let you know when the new map is active.
