Growing up, the thing I looked forward to most, every week, was the broadcast of old-time radio shows from 7-11 p.m. Sunday evenings.
A recent headline proclaiming the great advances science has made in detecting defects in preborn children sent a chill down my pro-life spine.
Judie Brown’s commentary entitled “Caylee Anthony” contains a scientific error that should be corrected. In that commentary Brown writes, “This may sound callous to those people who do not equate a preborn baby—zygote, embryo, and fetus—with someone as adorable as a three-year-old child.”
Expectant Mother Care (EMC) is one of the most successful crisis pregnancy organizations in the entire country. Now in its 27th year of operation, EMC has served over 100,000 clients, saved more than 32,000 preborn children and continues to grow daily.
What is it about preborn children that brings out the worst in folks? If we knew the correct answer to that question, we would have achieved a meaningful victory for these babies long ago.
