ALL Welcomes Respect Life Committee of Holy Rosary Church to Associate Program by Katie Walker Released October 7, 2009
Washington, D.C. (07 October 2009) – The Respect Life Committee of Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne, New York, is the newest member of American Life League’s expanding Associate program.
American Life League's Associate Program is a network of 105 pro-life groups dedicated to one simple concept – that the personhood of all human beings should be recognized, protected and cherished from the beginning of their biological development.
"As ALL continues to fight for personhood and the dignity of every human being’s life, we are excited to stand with the pro-life community at Holy Rosary Church," said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. "It is through grassroots organizations like the Respect Life Committee that the Holy Spirit often works to change hearts and minds, person by person."
The Respect Life Committee at Holy Rosary Church is the pro-life apostolate of the parish and is dedicated to educating fellow parishioners as well as the surrounding community on what Pope John Paul II called ‘the Culture of Life.’
The group is now one of American Life League’s growing number of Associate groups that cover half the states in the nation, plus associated groups in Canada and Africa.
American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to natural death.
