Released September 23, 2009

Washington, D.C. (23 September 2009) –  Rita Diller, national director of American Life League’s Stop Planned Parenthood (STOPP) project released the following statement regarding the closing of a Planned Parenthood Missouri clinic in Kirksville.

“After 38 years in business, Planned Parenthood officials cited declining client numbers and a lack of donations as reasons for closing the facility. According to our records this marks the 14th Planned Parenthood clinic to either close or announce its closing in 2009.

“It just goes to prove that when people find out the truth about Planned Parenthood, they stop contributing and quit going.”
